Idol group INFINITE only debuted last year in 2010, but 2011 has truly been the year of INFINITE. The group has been enjoying much success following the releases of Be Mine and later Paradise, gaining them the label ‘trend idols’, referring to their ability to distinguish themselves even in a market so filled with other idol groups. But now the boys of INFINITE have truly displayed their awesome success with tickets selling out to their concert, Second Invasion, in just ten minutes. CJ E&M, the agency behind the group explained:
“Due to a sudden rush of fans logging online to purchase tickets, the server experienced a temporary slowdown. Thus technically, tickets were sold out within five minutes, setting a new record.”
The band is set to perform Second Invasion for two nights, both the 12th and the 13th of February 2012 at the Olympic Park Handball arena. The members declared that:
“Everything is thanks to our fans!”
INFINITE released the Japanese version of Before the Dawn (BTD) on the 12th ofNovember for their Japanese debut. INFINITE is currently promoting their latest Christmas single: Lately (White Confession).
